The month of February is the month of Love as this is the month wherein we celebrate Valentine’s day. So what could help in filling our life with love and help live LIFE to the fullest? The answer that pops up in the mind is, “Pursue your dreams / passions.”

There are umpteen examples of professionals in the Corporate world like, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Steve Jobs-Apple, Sachin Tendulkar and many others from different walks of life, who actually loved their profession. They believe that if you love what you’re doing, then it will turn into your passion and your work will be great, and your life will be blissful

Steve Jobs’ in his Stanford speech outlined this idea pretty clearly, after he was fired from Apple.”I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.

And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle!

Loving what you do also helps in improving the “Quality of Life” because:

• You enjoy what you do
• You feel more fulfilled
• You are more productive
• You are motivated
• You want to learn
• You continuously look at doing new things / innovating.
• You take ownership

The key thing about connecting passion to employment is that you really have to understand what is it that excites you, interests you … and obviously you also have to temper that with the ability to search and find places where you can get paid for what you want to do.

So go ahead this month and find what you love, uncover your passion and lead a fulfilling life
