    LEARNINGS FROM LIFE!

In our last issue we spoke of being free by believing in ourselves and our capabilities. In this issue we would like to reflect on “Life” as the Biggest Teacher – putting us through challenges, problems, situations, which constantly test our abilities and attributes.

September is also the month that we celebrate “Teachers’ Day” and hence … This is the day that we are meant to express our gratitude to all our Teachers and “LIFE” as all of you would agree … tops that list !!

Bruce Lee, the world famous Karate champion, stated that “Life itself is your teacher and you are in a state of constant learning”.

Nature teaches us to give selflessly. Family teaches us love, patience, caring… Relationships teach us vulnerability, forgiveness and self belief. Stressful situations in life teaches us that stress is self-created and in our mind. Every situation is an opportunity to learn.

There are some special qualities/attributes of this Teacher: Life is the most patient teacher. It presents you with the same situation till you learn.. We are presented with the same experience over and over until we learn the best way to deal with the situation.. This is not because life is cruel. Rather, it is because things have a way of coming back to us when we don’t deal with them in a way that we are meant to. One form of intelligence is the ability to learn from mistakes. When you are presented with a painful experience, take the time to think about how what it taught you and how can you respond to the situation in a different way in the future..

Life is a strict Teacher: The biggest difference in the approach between “Life” and a “Teacher” is that a “Teacher teaches and then takes an exam” whereas “Life takes an exam through which you are taught/expected to learn a lesson !

Every moment in Life in a learning moment. So enjoy and cherish what you have! And keep learning, observing, introspecting on the wonderful lessons taught by this amazing teacher, called LIFE !!

At MHRF, we are privileged to learn a lot, from each one of you.

Thank you for coming into our lives.
